Inbound Marketing vs. Outbound Marketing [INFOGRAPHIC]
This infographic, courtesy of Mashable, is a very interesting visual representation of how the Internet has changed the way companies reach their consumers. Inbound Marketing or "New Marketing" refers to any marketing tactic that relies on earning people's interest instead of buying it. Outbound Marketing or "Old Marketing" is any marketing that pushes products or services on consumers.
The Internet has increased the use of Inbound Marketing which allows more engagement between a consumer and a brand.
